it's all about love..
Went to Comex last Saturday and I finally possess a HDD. IT shows are never a nice place to be in. For the fact that you have to be squashed by the crowd and tempted with so many goods you do not need yet want to have. I kind of managed to divert my zeal to my bro's gf and she got the camera! HAHAH! It was really really fun at that point! I was able to totally show my aunty power ;D
So, recently I've been watching a lot of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. It kind of shook me that the couples can be so extremely genuine about the whole being in love thing and end up getting engaged (which is the right thing) then like breaking up less than a year later?! Seriously, I don't know is it that I'm being too traditional or what but I'm so bothered by the whole fact. Like is what they so called "love" just a game? Makes what "love" which is a very strong expression to be just a cheap word used to gain someone else's trust.
Albeit I'm still very bothered, I still believe that there'll be ever lasting love. Even though it may just be a custom after marriage, at least we all know that the couple still needs each other to feel comfortable. And everytime I see B's parents waiting for each other to watch the telly together and laughing tgt really warms my heart (:
Love is like a friendship caught on fire.
In the beginning a flame, very pretty,
Often hot and fierce,
But still only light and flickering.
As love grows older,
Our hearts mature
And our love becomes as coals,
Deep-burning and unquenchable.

it's July alrdy?!
It's consoling to know that I'm adapting to my working environment by now :) I took a pretty long time to get here and i'm so glad things are going smoothly except having a problem with being punctual everyday. Well, tt's a very small problem. Hahah.
B's getting his sword today and Sunday is his commissioning day. Wow, what a long way. I'm so glad this day is finally coming. Though it's not gonna make much of a diff but at least I know that he'll be able to take leave someday to go on a short getaway real soon! :D
On a random note, I'm so broke. It's only the 5th and i'm left with only a week's allowance :(
till next time>>

yes, I'm back from HK ):
I miss HK. Not much of the food but a lot of the shopping and being all carefree every single day (:
Visited HK and China (Zhu Hai) and Macau.
I've yet to get my pictures properly organised so I shall start putting them up when i'm done. Not much taken as well cos when I was at China, my battery died and I left the charger in the HK hotel -.-
It was an awesome experience overall from the flight to walking around HK where I got bumped around and bumping into ppl who don't apologise and doesn't expect one in return. Then drinking the tea which is meant for washing the cutlery and chinese words are everywhere and ppl speaking really awesome canto like as if I was in a tv show. hahah. Then taking the ferry which made me want to puke so badly. China was so different with human paths also as a road so we have vans and motors honking ppl like what we have bicycles ringing ppl in singapore. well well, different cultures we have but I still enjoyed it so much (:

I still love Singapore a whole lot just that having to come back and work really hard before I get to enjoy again really suck.
and I'm feeling totally unmotivated to go to work since I was back ):
Oh ya, I caught KUNGFU panda 2 with momsy and it was so so so !!! don't you just love cartoons? you get the exaggerated action, the tickle, the sad touch and always a happy ending (:
Today is meeting partner session! It has been a week since we last met!! so much to be updated around here. hahah.
will update about HK again real soon! (:

it has been a while
wow, a month just passed like that without me noticing. I was really reluctant to let B go to taiwan (like as if I could stop him hahah). Well, thanks to technology, it's really easy to access to B through calls so it feels like he's only a room away from me (:
officially his 5th day at taiwan. It doesn't seem as bad as I thought and it'll be over in a blink (:
Last weekend before B flew off, we were down to USS :D
Not for B though but still really glad that he could have mac's breakfast with us and some shots taken before he return to camp (:
Pictures are all with JO and CQ and sadly, I don't know how to save the pictured from FB. lol. Like where's the "save as..." function from the right click? ):
okay okay, I think i'm abit of a blog noob suddenly. Don't really know what to type around here. Gotta update again when I'm back from my trip (:

I am a SINGAPOREAN!
hahah..
what I have to say after stepping into the working world, I do appreciate the money I earn more than ever.
So, it's actually about the air ticket we booked to HK.
B's sis made the ticket booking for her dad and I and made a minor mistake by choosing April instead of May. And right after realising the mistake, she wanted to go make amendments however the website just happen to go on maintenance and will only be back at 3am. She called the airline instead to ask for a change. To our horror, they asked for $75 + $30 for the changes. I think it's admin fee and don't know what. After explaining about how the mistake was made, they are only willing to waiver $75 but still have to pay the $30. We're left with no choice so had to pay $60 in total.
Me, being a typical Singaporean, decided not to let the matter rest. So i emailed them to explain.
and (to cut it short), I just received the email yesterday that we're getting back the $60!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
My first step to becoming a true Singaporean adult! Like complaining is our forte.
Which reminds me once again, I'm AunTy Mel ):
The feelings is quite satisfying. No wonder people like to complain so much :/
till next time>>
