for the first time, i went out straight after school for a mission. a mission to produce baby eunice ;D
had jap test 2 also the last jap lesson and rush off to meet Cherie and Diana.
i was there the earliest (yes!). waited and waited without knowing when they will come 'cause i brought a low batt phone out today. C* came first and we went to check out the stuff to produce baby E. the last time when i met the both of them, i was so terribly late like i arrived at around 5 when i'm supposed to meet them at around 3. this time was D*'s turn. haha! we go in a cycle (:
then we made baby E with extra love and warmth in it :D. I'm so sure mama E will love it cos it looks just like her. haha.
had subway and we chatted for hours like usual about everything under the sun.

as we mrt home, we chatted non-stop that C* doesn't want to alight. HA! so kind of her to accompany me to ang mo kio.

extra time with the girls are really hard-to-come-by. not all were present though. just the 3 of us. but it is good enough to compensate for my straight-home-after-school routine. gotta meet up with C* and D* again with jocelyn and mama E for cell. then meet up again on friday for celebration of Ms eunice's birthday and Cherie farewell.

a week ago i was still telling joce that if i cannot cope with my busy schedule, i'm gonna give up on all the celebrations and just study. but i don't think i can do it. i seem like i'm gonna go for all suddenly.

alrighty, it's late and lesson starts at 9 tmr. bye peeps!

K2 after NKM

oh yes, i forgot to add. i will be going on K2 after NKM, which is my next sea training! YESSSS!

NKM 2008

NKM 2008 came to an end earlier in the day. Everyone did well i must say. Finishing the race is a great accomplishment! I'm so PROUD of our team!! Our training didn't go to waste. we train hard and did well. now we get our harvest. GREAT JOB NYP KAYAKERS!
of course! without our wave breakers, our boat will definitely sink. moreover, the words of encouragement on it really made a great impact throughout 3/4 of the race. mind over matter.

although i'm really disappointed about the j* yesterday, i still LOVE my TEAM LOADS! they are the ppl who lights up my life!

Not forgetting my partner. She is the engine to my boat and without her, i simply can't move on. i may be disappointed at first but seeing that we did our best and you suffered so much ear treatment in the whole race, i think everything is worth it and i'm very contented with what i have gotten (:

NYP KAYAKING... YOSH!

my bums are suffering from serious abrasions and i can't even sit on a chair without cushion.
plus the last killer report that i don't get what the numbers are all about.

pain is temporary, i will keep it in mind.

Friday is a scarce reward to all of us. haha. at least for this week.
the toughest week of tests and presentations are OVER!
i've never studied so much in my whole life la. it's more than studying for O levels. only if i had studied at such a rate during O lvls, i will definitely get single pointer. HAHA!
CEP and MS lectures are over. means, exams are nearer...

life feels so much better suddenly. the air feels cleaner and fresher, my heart is beating at a slower rate, my brain is more ductile. haha! i can now concentrate on finishing my shopaholic which is only left with less than 20 pages. and of course to make sure i do my cell homework.
oh wait, let me rephrase: the air will feel even cleaner and fresher if smokers extinct ;D
no offence. i just don't like to be a second-hand smoker.

tmr will be going down to kallang for rowing and NKM is on SUNDAY! waaah! i'm excited, if i don't see dead cats tmr. i havent rowed for a WEEK! which is like so MUCH! every other schools are like so ready to race anytime but i doubt i am. nvm, all i can do is to psycho myself to do it and push as hard as possible. for my partner, I WILL!

the most hectic period of my life is over! although i still have maths tmr. at least i can stop memorising stuff for now until next week.
and yes, i managed to survive through it.

had SP1 presentation today which is held in the LECTURE theatre. cool la! it's so much better than presenting it in a tutorial room (: we didn't take pictures after that. probably 'cos we were too engross with studying MS and most of us wore the same formal for SP2. mann, we've gotta wear it again next week for CS presentation )):
i've gotta get a new formal!

seems like so many things are done but there are still so many to go.. i will endure!

OVERSLEPT.

this is a really serious problem. like really serious!
i think i deserve a big treat if i can just NOT OVERSLEEP for a whole month!
yes, i overslept and missed 9/10 of cell but was there for service cos i'm usher.
ushering is like usual. i don't usually fancy being usher most of the time. it's not really about the service of going up to everyone or what. it's just the trouble to wear SKIRT! especially flare skirts cos they fly all over when i'm under the fan. it so happen that my NON-flare skirts are shorter so i can't wear it. it's time i get those that touches my toes then it wouldn't fly all about. HAHA. can't imagine myself in those.

rushed back for assignments after cavana in sunplaza.

completed IPC report then to jap SDL assignments. phew~ i'm so DONE with those jap assignments. i just have to go for my test and get over with my roleplay and it's OVER! well, it's not that i'm hate jap la, i just can't wait to get over with something at least then concentrate on others. i still like to learn more jap (:

just checked my exam timetable and sem 2 ends on 25 feb! which means it's HOLIDAYS! wahaha!! be stressed enough to know how i feel (;

(tues) IPC test 2 = miss training for studying + captain upset
die la. i think captain's angry that we are going to miss training :/
i promise to do my best on saturday and for NKM. serious!

finally one down. way to go. i've been practicing really hard for my Jap role play and i really hope that i wouldn't go brain block that very day. went to the extend of watching BLEACH (jap anime) to listen to how they pronounce! i believe hardwork will pay off ;D
anyway, bleach can be quite addictive huh..

i'm going to forgo land and sea training next week so as to study for the busy scheduled tests and just right after all the tests, i'm going for NKM on Sunday!
how i wish it was Diploma in kayaking sometimes :/

i'm still surviving here but going insane at times. laughing is just a very common symptom for work overload (in my sense).

actually i wonder. why am i typing in my blog when i'm actually complaining about my tight schedule.

Tuesday, in school

like usual, tests and reports, role play and training.
NKM is in 2 weeks time! fast, really fast! and we gotta row in kallang of all places ):
i don't want to see dead CATS! yuck!
for my current studying life: don't worry. i will survive this whole routine like how i did last sem!

NYP open hse and push-up records

first day of NYP open house 2008. Our class were supposed to tend the booths and entertain the people; free labour :/
as for the event, we all had to wear some NYP shirt and the only shirt i have with the NYP logo is my pathetic orientation tee -.-it was quite bored at the beginning so we were so busy entertaining ourselves with the things in the pilot plant. haha. big kids invading pilot plant!the red and white balloons are so badly LOVED! some sec sch kids even insisted to own it. gosh, so irritating.
NYP also organised the push-up event to get into the world records. so all NYP students can participate in the push-ups and get some goodies. tend the booth for 1 hour and went to do push-ups. we were hoping to win the team overall trophy however, i think we got 2nd 'cause we simply DON'T have that many people. unfairness la. should just go by the average. BAH! oh wells, we did as many as we can for the team. so good job NYP KAYAKERS!

went back to the booth at around 5pm. the busy period is over so i just played with that pilot plant games and hoping to get a shoe bag. dammit. i click that thing for like 7654345678 times and i cannot get it! argh! i was too timid to kope one so better stick to the rules and play the games. but but but, i still can't get it. forget it. while i was playing that games, jingting and huat were having the stamping war. gosh. they run around stamping each other like KIDS LA! HAHA! tsk tsk tsk. well, i think i can understand why they are behaving like that. Jingting must be relieving stress from studying too much CEP and huat is always like that. HAHA! Khairul (i think) came in with a bunch of his friends. he was my pri sch classmates and i thought we just saw each other 2 years ago. he couldn't recognise me la. haiyo. even after i tell him that i'm melissa, he still didn't give me the convincing tone that he recognize me. i give up.

we ended at 6pm. packed up and went home.
PHUA! stop saying that LS is my boyfriend! continue and i will slaughter you when i see you in sch! i already have a new boyfriend :D

teach me how not to be afraid. test schedules are crap, fancy cramming everything together. they just think that we are a bunch of studying robots. irritating. can't help missing last sem ):

i'm getting tests-phobic. i just got over my report phobia (at least for now) since i handed up my MS report. it's really scary to see it all coming to you. like loan sharks coming after your life. and the stress of when will you start studying, how well should you study, do i have enough time to study. AHHHHHHH!

alright, got back EMAB & IPC results. maths didn't disappoint me ((:
as well as for IPC. unexpected grade. as for the effort that i've put into mugging, i think i deserve my grade :D

tests are scary. so is the coming marathon. it's time i display my EXCELLENT time management skill again huh. i'm aching all over that i can hardly straighten my arms.
but if i want to win, i have to train. so no excuses for slacking!

Reports and GW

I was chionging my reports from 2.30 pm till 9.00pm.
gosh, i admire my patience. hahah!
i could have finished it at around 8.00 la but i stupidly *cross* that window without saving it and had to redo. oh wells, at least i had it done now.

had training yesterday and was late again. rowed 12 rounds in a pretty bad water condition that my boat keeps getting pushed to the left. (to the left, to the left). bah! surprisingly jelly and I did quite well in that condition. though against the wind, we managed to reach the timing we set for ourselves. it's quite unexpected though. we steared like nobody's business, our backs were aching and were on the verge to give up. prolly that's the power of motivation ((:
i must that the seniors who did 16 rounds are really impressive! especially the T2 girls, hueyyen & Joanna, and of course T1 Liling! WELL DONE!

right after training, i MRT down to yishun and BUSED to sembawang place.

joined in the Gliderz discussion halfway. it was not a wasted trip. the activities were refreshing and i must say i was much much more actively involved compared to last year's meeting. i was appointed to take up a new home; gliderz wing. ugly dolls are available at gliderz wing as well! we were "trying" out the game and seriously, with the good games, the environment doesn't really matter anymore. haha. then came the furniture and we packed up the place and tadaaa:

red and black combination. you must see it, to feel it :D

once again, it's the start of school. we wasted 3 hours in school because our teachers didn't tell us that they are not coming to teach us! i could have slept for like 2 more hours can!

oh wells,
since we had so much time, 8 roses with a torn (phelan) stayed in our tut room for a game of murderer. hahah. we are just too bored that we had to play that but i must admit, it was unexpectedly fun especially to see so many of us blink like 3-4 times in a row or some blink just once and thought is twice, making some victims question,"am i dead?" hahah. so sorry that we had to blink instead 'cause i seriously can't wink. i might get a face cramp if i wink :/

after which, we went for lunch followed by にほんご lesson.

after which is training. the water was nice and i think if we had more time, i can row another 2 rounds! as for the up coming marathon, jelly and i are going for the T2 junior women. we will train hard and improve! we are only a few more weeks to it and let's make this the best marathon ever! go partner go!

training ended and i headed home straight as my gastric acted up again ):

i'm so in the mood to train again! but not in the mood for school. gotta get brainwashed to get back to my studying. my reports and work are going to be due SOON! mann, poly's schedule is sooo random ):

HAPPY 2008!

2007 is a brand new chapter of my life and as it pass on to 2008, i hope for more enjoyment, more changes and more maturity from me. i and many others ended off 2007 with watch night service an it was a pretty refreshing experience. If only the other Napthali girls were there, i think it will be better. anyways, we prayed for a brand new blessed year. i have yet to come out with some new year resolutions for a better year.
