I am a SINGAPOREAN!

hahah..
what I have to say after stepping into the working world, I do appreciate the money I earn more than ever.

So, it's actually about the air ticket we booked to HK.
B's sis made the ticket booking for her dad and I and made a minor mistake by choosing April instead of May. And right after realising the mistake, she wanted to go make amendments however the website just happen to go on maintenance and will only be back at 3am. She called the airline instead to ask for a change. To our horror, they asked for $75 + $30 for the changes. I think it's admin fee and don't know what. After explaining about how the mistake was made, they are only willing to waiver $75 but still have to pay the $30. We're left with no choice so had to pay $60 in total.

Me, being a typical Singaporean, decided not to let the matter rest. So i emailed them to explain.
and (to cut it short), I just received the email yesterday that we're getting back the $60!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
My first step to becoming a true Singaporean adult! Like complaining is our forte.
Which reminds me once again, I'm AunTy Mel ):

The feelings is quite satisfying. No wonder people like to complain so much :/

Tickets to HK, booked! :D

I thought my first trip is prolly only happening when I turn 21 since B is still serving hardcore now and my family is too busy to make it happen but it's totally happening in MAY! (Just the time when B is in taiwan for training) I was so overjoyed that I couldn't stop grinning to myself the entire morning and only slept near 4am. Siao.

Just thinking of finally being able to go into the departure area which I usually only send ppl off and feel so crappy, cos I'm always the one left behind, makes me want to grin even more! hahah.

so what's left to be done is to apply for my leave tmr, first thing in the morning (:

Okay I know it's still a little early to be thinking of what to buy back from there but I was asking B this morning and he was like "buy lots of egg tarts for me! Must eat it fresh the day you arrive". Then I was thinking that since I'm arriving on Wed, how can he book out and eat? then suddenly it came to my mind tt he is worse still, in Taiwan so totally no egg tarts for him la! HAHAH.
very bad, but i think it's quite funny to see his reaction :x

Still more than a month to go. For now, work hard and my trip will feel even more well-deserved (:

yes yes, my 6th month already!! very soon my 2 years will be over :)
