I am a SINGAPOREAN!
hahah..
what I have to say after stepping into the working world, I do appreciate the money I earn more than ever.
So, it's actually about the air ticket we booked to HK.
B's sis made the ticket booking for her dad and I and made a minor mistake by choosing April instead of May. And right after realising the mistake, she wanted to go make amendments however the website just happen to go on maintenance and will only be back at 3am. She called the airline instead to ask for a change. To our horror, they asked for $75 + $30 for the changes. I think it's admin fee and don't know what. After explaining about how the mistake was made, they are only willing to waiver $75 but still have to pay the $30. We're left with no choice so had to pay $60 in total.
Me, being a typical Singaporean, decided not to let the matter rest. So i emailed them to explain.
and (to cut it short), I just received the email yesterday that we're getting back the $60!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
My first step to becoming a true Singaporean adult! Like complaining is our forte.
Which reminds me once again, I'm AunTy Mel ):
The feelings is quite satisfying. No wonder people like to complain so much :/
till next time>>
