Following very strictly to my wish list, filtering out all other choices, I got my new baby Ixus 130! (:

Got 2 Sandisk thumbdrive too 'cos it was only at less than $8/piece.
Sitex was mad crowded. I will NEVER go to another IT fair only if I really really really need to. Thanks to cousin Isabelle for being such a great company else I'll be really be lost there (:



3 more days before B returns to OCS and proper calls from him.
Being use to it doesn't make me numb. It still thrills me to see your name appearing on my phone (:

What a lethargic week.
I need a jolt.

being simple is all it takes to be happy

Despite how unproductive my saturday can get, it's still the most enjoyable day out of the entire week. Day started off from 10am, snacked around with some plain marie biscuits and caught the latest 2 episodes of ANTM cycle 15; I really hope Ann wins though she's really kind of weird but I still love her (: then got B's call that he's booking out at 3pm.

Since morning both of us haven't eaten so we had a really filling one and headed to get his usual necessities for camp and his coming outfield. Headed back to nap after. Though time is really precious for both of us, all we wanna do is sleep.

Nothing beats eating "kopitiam" food and lazing around. No fancy restaurants and good time looking at each other. We need to replenish our sleep loss for the week. Leave the dating part in our dreams (:Hahah.

The next weekend will be Benjamin-less for me cos he'll be back to Tekong for a 10-day outfield ): and the next time I get to see him is in December )':
I still cannot say that I'm use to this whole (confinement, outfield, bookout late, book in early) 'cos every book in still makes me very emotional but I'm halfway there. Reason being, for the entire week, B wasn't able to receive any of my smses which means we can only contact through phone calls and our chats are extremely miserable compared to the kind of long hours we use to have. Better than nothing though.


Recently, work has increased it's intensity. All of a sudden, my work load just increased 2 times! I had to learn more stuff now and samples are coming in non-stop. I was still complaining of being bored due to the little samples i had before hari raya. Now I can't do without multi-tasking and I'm extremely lousy at it. Preparing for one test and forgetting that I'm purging my HPLC then allowing my mobile phase to flush off like free water and I have to make more mobile phase -.- Hopefully my actions get more swift and I'll be able to do 10 tests a day! :D

So soon we're reaching the last week of November! Then comes december. 42km marathon ): and Christmas :D

Rights rights, I better get going to print B's appraisal (: good bye!!

29 months. It took me quite long to finally realise that B is actually a Mr Goody guy. Okay, at least to me he is one very nice guy (:
Though I cannot deny that he don't look like one :x Well, things in the past did make me think otherwise. I was too revolved around the past which made me blinded by them that I don't see the goodness of the present situation. The past is over. It's really my bad for not being understanding and seeing who you really are. I'm really sorry for being such a dumbo ):

Here's to compensate, I'm telling whoever who reads the blog how good you are :D

it's not difficult to lift up to the name as an

ATM.

Don't get me wrong. In this context, ATM means AunTy Mel. I cannot deny this fact and I believe I was called ATM back in NYP for a reason. Today I had my lunch out with my colleague and we popped by POLAR puffs factory to realise the cheap deals :D The pastries there are all at 30% off! So I got 6 sugar rolls at only $4.60.
I'm pretty thrilled now cos I heard from my other colleague that other factories actually put up food booths near Christmas :D
So now you get what I mean?

Fridays are just awesome. Totally explains why I sound so much chirpier with such a mono life. Hahah. But still sad things have to come. B's booking in tmr evening and I have to attend G12 conference from 8am till 9pm which means my saturday is burnt and for this week, i'll only get to see him later :( Booooo!
Oh wells, thank God for Hari Raya :D

Got this online last week and it's here! Kays, I'm over-reacting a little but don't blame me for that, it's my first time buying something online. So noob, i know. The package came with bubble wrap too! Popping every single one of them temporarily cures all unhappiness (:

During the long weekends,

We were out with Joyce and CQ for movies and shopping. Caught Megamind. Not my favourite cartoon but it's still nice 'cos you can always expect a happily ever after ending (:
My first time at Frolick before the movies. Guess what? I had 3 yogurt treats within 2 days :D These frozen treats just brings me back to life!

Saturday was POL-ITE 2010. This time it was at Bedok reservoir. Just watching them gives me the adrenaline and how sad that I'm no longer able to take part (ah well, life goes on for me). I'm proud of everyone who participated, seniors and juniors. The team cheering went really well during the race too and it was such a wonderful sight (: Go NYP! :D

Life seem so aimless.
It's just so stagnant, it gets unbearable. Daily routine includes:

• Making sure that I make it to work on time
  
• Going through 4 hours
• Lunch
• Going through the next 4 hours
• Chase for the (almost always FULLY packed) bus to admiralty station

then life's a little brighter from here depending on what's installed.

If I summarise it further,

• Monday-Friday: WORK
• Saturday-Sunday: Meet up with B

Can you see how meaningless is life now? Every single day, looking forward to the weekends. Then all over. So the only meaning to life is to look forward to the weekends.
