Every year since year 1, I'll witness the Exxon mobil (EM) dragon boat race held at lower seletar reservoir as we'll be having trainings as usual (although they always specifically tell use that we cannot have trainings). Anw, coach will bring us further back to row so as not interfere with the race. The event always seem like such a fun family carnival and I always hope I'll be part of the people on land, enjoying the games and food (but no need to row :P)


It's the 6th EM race this year and I'm honoured to be part of the crowd! All thanks to Michelle who invited me to row.

In fact, I didn't really row much. Just for 1 heat and the rest was all about ice cream, popcorn, stage entertainment (the MC was excellent!), rain, poncho, RP shed... LOL
It's not that my team didn't make it to semi just that Michelle took over the rowing so I just slacked throughout the rest of the event. Btw, my team's name is BUNKER TROOPERS! hahahah.. sounds quite cute la!



B was invited too however he didn't row. I still think he enjoyed himself as much as I do especially with his toy car which is still in the rp shed (:

I didn't regret dragging B along to play with the poncho 'cos it's my first time using a poncho other than those kiddy raincoats when I was much younger. We can run in the rain so freely without getting drenched and forget the hassle about carrying an umbrella everywhere we go (:

uses of a multi-purpose poncho!
1. hide a bag to keep it dry
2. cover your entire head from the rain
3. carry your keys with the sleeve



Similar to the Nike race, there are young ladies taking polaroids (:
so this time, i was sooooo determined to get a shot! :D


when the race kind of ended, I went over to rp shed to slack till training at 4pm. B tried to irritate me with his funny faces..
and I got really irritated so I used the ball to hit him..

ya, like I will bear to do that! hahahahah. He went to pluck his pimple and it bled. tsk tsk. the pose with the ball is obviously just a picture.


I did something worse though. I dropped his Oakley by accident and it's scratched :/
Felt really really guilty la.. was still hesitating to tell him the truth when i saw the scratch :/



guess B and I played too much in the rain and caught a cold or something, plus the insufficient amount of rest every night that caused me to fall sick. Was down with a slight fever, sore throat, sharp headache yesterday. Managed to endure throughout work but really cannot make it for training so I went home to rest. B was sweet enough to come over and take care of me and irritated me as well. But somehow because of that, I recovered really fast! Still, very sweet of you la (:


and today, B fell sick while working too! hahah. seriously, what's with us?
Went over to meet him at work and he secretly slip a piece of note into my bag with me realising it only after I unpack my bag at home (:
He actually wrote it on a piece of empty receipt. hahah.


Lastly, result is out today! How awesome. Those starbucks, burger kings, ice lemon tea, etc, etc are so worthwhile. Though my overall is still pretty pathetic if i want to go into uni, but I'm still very contented with it la.
