Red K1 training
utter happiness
always thought that either a miracle or some super power is needed to row in the red K1.
maybe it's a miracle but there are definitely a lot of hard work and perspiration before being able to row in it. its the process.
I thank GOD for:
- letting gaybo's radar go crazy
- bringing jelly to row today
- giving me my teammates
- the overpowering SUN
for the first round, even before i reach the yellow buoy i capsized prolly 'cos i'm too nervous. had to swim back. never mind. i will row again. this time, i managed to go all the way to almost half the route before i capsize again. so captain saved me. never mind. continued and finished 4 rounds before going back for some water. started off my 5th round. this time i capsize after the half route area. captain gotta save me again. and now i'm very determined not to capsize anymore. so i finished 8 rounds successfully :D
just a lil encouragement and assurance will bring me more confidence (:
capsized 3 times for 8 rounds. THANK GOD!
as for the SUN, i think it's as hot as yesterday. i nearly melted. my mum's expensive sunblock is useless. after i capsize all of it got washed away. shall just stick to using my banana boat for kids. i'm now as burnt as charcoal. red and hot ;D nah, it's as red as a drunkard )):
4 consecutive trainings right after exams. haven't been training so hard ever since the last long holiday. and i got 2 big blue-blacks, on both legs. looks like someone abused me ):
over exhaustion now. i'm going to bed and forsaking my dinner again.
think the pratas from yesterday haven't digest. can't even finish my subway meal. so bloated that i almost throw up.
cherie is online again! i can't wait to go over to aussie to meet up with her! gosh. i miss her badly ): oh yes, her tan is NICE! while i'm just so black that jon suggest that i get some bleach -.-
i'm dying soon. bye ppl!
