kayak training. (monday)

things to be happy about:
  • I went for training today!
  • I came back home ALIVE!
  • I did not perspire as much as last week
  • going to have kayak jersey
  • going to get 1 star course! wohoooooo!!
  • I forbid myself from drinking carbonated drinks for 2 weeks already!

things to be sad about:

  • next training joce and jelly is not in!!
  • I'm not fit enough!
  • I stink terribly after training now!

Alright, so it's all about training today. Oh yes, something to say before that. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! hahahah. ok, back to topic. I went for training at 5 then we had our usual training. Only that the run had a faster pace so many ended up lagging behind. I really had to depend on willpower man.. Seriously, now I really feel that I'm actually WEAK! I had to constantly think of something to distract myself from all the running. If I keep concentrating on the run, I will probably lag behind too.

Next, we went for the normal inclines and stuff. Then, we went for gym session. GYM. gosh! this is when I really feel and know that I'm not as strong as I thought I am. I cannot lift up weights that I expect myself to. I was shivering the whole time and trying my best to lift that thing. However, I had to reduce the weight cos I seriously cannot take it and that the thing is going to crash my bones! Good thing is I had super supportive group members to cheer me on. Thanks to ai xing and hueyyen. Oh yes, I'm in grp ONE again!

After training, we were told of a good news. That is, we get to make jersey but with no printing. Printing is only when we go for our first competition. The best thing is our jersey is going to be in RED! I WANT TO GO FOR THE COMPETITION!! Therefore, I better train hard from today onwards! Oh and, I get to go for the 1-star course for FREE! wohooooo~ I did plan to go for the course earlier but I did not have time and now, I thank God that I get to go for it for FREE! whahahaha!

Talking alot about kayaking. Just nw, we were chatting with our senior and we realise that we cannot have too many commitments in life as it will all clash especially with kayaking, it takes up most of my time that I'm very afraid that I cannot cope with other commitments. SO if I happen to reject any offers, please forgive me.
